3. On Right Hand Side Right Click on ProcessorName

Extend your Windows 7 30 day Trial upto 1 year

If you are using 30 Trial Windows 7 you can extend it to 1 year. No Downloading, No Software required.
This is actually possible using the slmgr -rearm command which will extend the grace period from 30 days to 120 days. However in this post I will show you a small trick using which it is possible to use Windows 7 without activation for approximately 1 year! Here is a way to Use windows 7 without activation. Follow the Steps Below:


1. Go to “Start Menu -> All Programs -> Accessories” . Right click on “Command Prompt” and select “Run as Administrator“.

2. Now type the following command and hit enter:

slmgr -rearm

3. You will be prompted to restart the computer. Once restarted the trial period will be once again reset to 30 days. You can use the above command for up to 3 times by which you can extend the trial period to 120 days without activation.

4. Now comes the actual trick by which you can extend the trial period for another 240 days. Open Registry Editor (type regedit in “Run” and hit Enter) and navigate to the following location


HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SoftwareProtectionPlatform

5. In right-side pane, change value of SkipRearm to 1.


6. Now you will be able to use the slmgr -rearm command for another 8 times so that you can skip activation process for another 240 days. So you will get 120 + 240 = 360 days of free Windows 7 usage.

Disable Shutdown In Window 7

This is a neat trick, how to disable the Shut Down option in
the Shut Down Dialog Box. This trick involves editing the registry,
so please make backups. Launch regedit.exe and go to :


HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersio
\Policies\Explorer

In the right pane look for the NoClose Key. If it is not already there
then create it by right clicking in the right pane and selecting New >
String Value.(Name it NoCloseKey ) Now once you see the
NoCloseKey in the right pane, right click on it and select Modify.
Then Type 1 in the Value Data Box

Use Trial Kaspersky for Lifetime without patch

Generally Kaspersky provide us 30 days trial period on its Anti-virus Product.

Follow these steps when your trial license going to expire after 30 days for getting a new trial license.


Step 1. Delete old key and turn off self defense (Settings > Options in kaspersky and turn off Enable  self-defense, and click OK).

Step 2. Open Registry editor ( type regedit in Window 7 search box)
           then Navigate to :
   
For 32bit OS:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ KasperskyLab \ protected \ AVP9 \ environment
   
For 64bit OS:

Step 3. Right look for PCID and right click and modify three or four last numbers or letters
example: (8F10C22F-6EF6-4378-BAB1-34722F6D454) and enter any other three-letter four-number and close the Registry Editor.

Step 4. Right click on Kaspersky icon in the task bar and choose exit.

Step 5. Go to Start-Programs menu, open the Kaspersky and when you activate searching trial license and you have new  license of a peaceful month.

 Step 6. Go to Kaspersky settings and turn on self-defense.

This is hardly a 2 minute job and you got again a trial period of 30 days, and there is no rush for more keys.
   
Note : Most of the patches that you will found on the net are basically work on that trick, they simply make the changes in the registry and change identification of your computer to the Kaspersky server, thus Kaspersky log server recognizes you as a new user and assigns you new trial license.

Back Up your Windows Registry

Before you edit the registry, Export the keys in the registry that you plan to edit.

Steps to Export the Registry:
1. Open Registry Editor (Win + R, then Regedit).
2. Now click on File > Export
3. Save The .reg file in a safe place.


Now follow the steps below to restore the registry to its previous state.
    Click on .reg file you have saved

 or Manaully do this:

1. Open Registry Editor

2. Now click on File > Import

3. open the .reg file you have saved

Disable USB/Flash Drives in Window 7

To disable the access to USB port, in windows XP, Vista and Windows 7: 

1. Click Start, and then click Run. ( or press window + R)

2. Type regedit  and then click OK.

3. Navigate to the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\UsbStor

4. In the right pane, double-click Start.

5. In the Value data box, change its value to 4, which was 3 and then click OK.



Now To re-enable disabled port:
1. Click Start, and then click Run.

2. Type regedit, and then click OK.

3. Navigate to the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\UsbStor


4.  In the right pane, double-click Start.

5.  In the Value data box, change its value to 3, which you changed to 4
to disable the USB drive and then click OK.

6.  Quit Registry Editor.
